There are nearly 100 million televisions ready for the landfill, which poses a concern with some groups because of the toxic substances used in televisions. There are regulations in place but enforcement of those regulations is difficult. It's feasible that a TV you donate today could be transported to a country that doesn't have safe methods for handling toxic substances. What do you think of Electronic Waste. Is it a problem or just another environmental issue to read about while passing time at work?
