Guide Review - Digital Innovations Skip Doctor CD/DVD Repair Kit
Not only did the Skip Doctor fix the first disc I tried it on, but it fixed every disc I tried - even a DVD I was never able to play because of a large blemish. And best of all, it's easy to use and affordable.
Here's a brief synopsis of how it works:
1) You find the disc needing repairing
2) Attach disc to Skip Doctor and spray with the 'Resurfacing Fluid'
3) Turn the crank handle so the disc rotates 360 degrees clockwise and counter clockwise
4) Remove disc and dry it with drying cloth
5) Buffer and play
The only real downside to this manual model is the crank turning can be tiring for those with weak hands. Luckily, Digital Innovations offers an motorized model. Because of the ease at which CD and DVDs can scratch, the Skip Doctor is a must have for anyone owning digital media.
