Likes: I'm very surprised with the picture detail. The deep blacks is what initially sold the 4053H to me. I input the BD-P1200 using Blu-ray demo movies "Crank, Dead Man's Chest and The Wild. The demonstration resulted in the purchase of this TV.
The three HDMIs are necessary. The headphone jack performs well with my Sennheiser HD555. The menu has been very easy for me to use. I wanted to initially buy the LN-T4065F or 61F but when considering the savings of $300-400 at Amazon with a 'white-glove' free delivery. I had to buy, buy, buy!
Dislikes: The fact that a 720p (after all the hype with 1080p) can perform this well.
Why I Chose This Model: Price, brightness, picture detail and the deep blacks. I'm surprised I settled for a 720p. Personally, I couldn't tell the difference between this model and a 1080p from a distance of 8-10 feet. I watched this TV at a friend's house. The source was a Samsung BD-P1200. My viewing distance was twelve feet. The picture display was excellent. I was surprised. I was going to buy the 4071F. Now, I'll wait for the price to drop on the 71-line.
Would I Buy It Again: Yes. For the money, it's a great deal.
