Q&A with Panasonic Living in HD Participants

Before this contest did you feel the need to invest in digital technology?

Shane Christley: It would definitely have been on my mind because of the commercials but I probably would’ve waited until the very last moment. Some of these TVs are expensive and I was concerned about the cost of the transition. I wanted to give myself as much time as possible, hoping that the technology would get cheaper closer to the transition. But once we got the technology in our home, we wanted more. We actually went out and bought a new 42” Panasonic plasma for our bedroom because we loved it so much. Now we only have one TV left to convert to HD.

Eric Suan: I wasn’t into the technology at first but now that I see the Blu-Rays and all of the other things out there, I have invested in more products. I’ve been purchasing a lot of Blu-Ray discs and will wait until something comes out on Blu-Ray to watch it again.

Tamara Resendes:No, and I probably wouldn’t have after the transition. I’m a single mom with five kids and I’m very busy. I did see them in the stores and thought it would be really nice to have but had other expenses to concentrate on. But now that I have one, it’d be really hard to go back. You just don’t know what you are missing until see what you are missing.
