Definition: Composite is a type of video input/output on a television or other home electronics device featuring a yellow color coded RCA plug. Usually, composite video cables are bundled with red and white stereo cables.

Also Known As: RCA input, RCA output, RCA cable, yellow-red-white cable
Examples: A digital television often has four types of inputs: S-Video, RF, component, and composite.
