The digital transition has left some people with out a television signal. Reasons for signal loss are various - inaccurate antenna alignment, converter box issues, live in an area impacted by the new Federal Communications Commission (FCC) translator station program.
The point is that there are a lot of factors in why you might have lost a TV signal over the weekend. Fortunately, there are ways to fix most reception problems. Typically, I start with these five questions when it comes to troubleshooting a digital converter box:
- Is Everything Powered On?
- Is Everything Connected Properly?
- Is Your TV Tuned to the Correct Channel and Correct Input Source?
- Did You Configure the DTV Converter Box Properly?
- Is the Antenna Aligned Properly or in the Best Location?
