Discussion: Will You or Do You Watch TV on your PC?

Sunday August 12, 2007
Did you know that you can watch live television on your PC? I don't mean streaming videos, like stuff from YouTube or video content from a network Web site. I mean live television, like what you get when using an antenna or connecting to a cable box.

This is made possible if you have the right hardware installed on your PC. Usually, it is as simple as installing a TV tuner card but you might also want to look into upgrading your video card. So, presuming this is a good idea then why not turn the PC into a TV? After all, computer monitors have larger screen sizes and many people own a notebook computer - meaning TV on the go with an antenna.

That is just my two cents. What about you?
