  • According to an article from multichannel.com, Time Warner is going to offer ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD free to watch for all those who have their digital cable service. Normally, for $10 more you would get these two channels for the HD subscription along with the other HD channels.

  • Southborough, Mass. was given recognition in a May 23 press release for being the 48th community in Massachusetts to have Verizon's new FiOs TV service. FiOs TV is a fiber-optic service which is being offered also in other locations in New York, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Texas, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

  • Displaysearch.com indicated that Samsung showed number one in sales for their HDTVs this last quarter.

  • In an article from High-Def Digest, Warner Home Entertainment said that their dual format release of 'The Departed' hit the 100,000 mark for units shipped. This makes 'The Departed' the highest selling high-definition disc.
