Update: Philips MiraVision Televisions

Bad news...I spoke with Philips officials at the 2007 CES and they said Philips has no immediate plans to produce the MiraVision TV in the USA. This is a big disappointment because I saw the MiraVision at the 2006 CES and thought it was pretty cool.
A Philips official said that the TV still needed testing. Since it doubles as a mirror, I totally understand the need for more testing. I also know that this type of unit would be a big hit with a lot of people since it has a really practical use. Maybe next year.
