Here are some last minute holiday gift ideas:
- Wireless headphones
- Indoor or outdoor HD antenna
- Universal remote control
- Rechargeable batteries and charger for a remote control or wireless device
- Cabling (like Monster cables, HDMI or DVI to HDMI adapter)
- DVD recorder/player (prices have dropped on these)
- Micro-fiber cloth and lens cleaner without ammonia/alcohol for cleaning a LCD panel
- Subscription to tv.about.com's weekly newsletter (actually, it's free)
Yahoo! Tech has a good article on why you should wait to buy a new HDTV until after the holidays. The only thing I would object to is Yahoo's statement on avoiding EDTVs and SDTVs. There is nothing wrong with buying an enhanced or standard definition digital television. After all, not everyone wants or cares about HDTV.
