This list contains 37" LCD TVs, which is the largest screen size you'll find consistently priced at or under $1000. That doesn't mean you have to sacrifice a large screen size or quality of workmanship. Thirty-seven inches is a good-sized screen and many of these televisions have the same stuff in them as more expensive models.

I will preface that not all televisions on this list are always under $1000 but you can find them if you wait for sales or the occassional refurbished product. Before you buy, be sure to budget for your new purchase.
