Kreisen announced plans to incorporate HDMI and HDCP into all of their new models of high definition televisions. Kreisen CEO, Samson Lee, said, "HDMI clearly will become the standard digital interface for the consumer home theatre market in the very near future, but we want to make this superior technology available today for televisions on both ends of the price and size spectrum. This is just another example of our deep commitment to make high-quality home theatre experience accessible to more consumers."

In other news, LCD giant Sharp announced plans to begin selling a 65" LCD TV. It would be the centerpiece in anyone's home theater setup, but who can afford it? Priced around $15,000 USD, it would have a limited buying demographic. The TV should hit US markets sometime in late-2005.
