Toshiba's SED-TVs

Not to be overshadowed by their HD-DVD exploits, but Toshiba is in cahoots with Canon to create a flat panel television that performs like a CRT. SED, surface-conduction electron-emitter display, televisions are expected to be sold in stores sometime in 2007, according to Toshiba. Click to read more.

Apparently Canon has just announced the introduction of SED TV in Malaysia in Q4 2007.
